strongsenseofwhimsyKill Six Billion Demons is a comic that is constantly on high octane Rad Shit. Imagine a several hundred page comic where every single panel is fit to be a metal album cover, that’s kind of the vibe. It takes place in a city called Throne, which is in the center of all realities. It is what used to be “heaven” and now a sort of interdimensional Super New York. There’s a lot going on and most of it Chaotic Bullshit but there are seven established Baddest Dudes (demiurges) who have divided up the multiverse into seven equal plots because of they kept fighting they would probably ends all of time and space. Less on that later!
Gog Agog is one of these seven! She’s got a key with a chunk of Capital G God’s power in her head(s) and she ain’t afraid to use it. She’s also a hive mind of parasitic worms living inside of countless billions of integrated human hosts. While she’s called Beast and The Great Devourer and Scourge of Worlds, all that was mostly in her younger days. Yeah, she could crack the walls of a reality open and feast on the helpless mortals within, but, well . . . she’s just not really into it anymore. She needs many many many many manymanymanymanymany bodies for Reasons, but she doesn’t like fighting and conquering all that much and would actually rather people integrate into her willingly. She’s a cure for depression! She’s the latest in skin care! She will brighten your smile and whiten your teeth and fill the emptiness inside you . . . with worms!
The Demiurges are all more or less aligned with the Seven Deadly Sins because of course they are and Gog Agog is envy. She is always looking in on the drama of mortality from the outside. She sees all and has seen Too Much and is fucking bored of all of it. Hence the Looney Tunes shit.
Also she’s very clearly based on Juri from Yu Yu Hakusho and we love that for her.
